O U T F I T: essential layering

-sweater: similar|shirt: urban outfitters|jacket: forever21|jeans: h&m|shoes: zara|bag: forever21-

When living in New York it's essential to do as much layering as possible. I am definitely good for that. The 19 degree weather is no joke. As soon as you step outside you can already feel your body tensing up. As much as I try to get away with just wearing one layer of clothing I always end up freezing my butt off. So this time I went back to my very essential button down and my favorite cropped sweater and layered like a boss. Usually I would take off my jacket, scarf, and gloves for when I'm shooting but I couldn't bear the cold. I would probably just freeze to death if I did. Oh how I seriously can't wait for it to be summer already, just so I can complain about how hot it is.

  1. I totally feel your last sentence. It's definitely not as cold as it is in New York here in SoCal right now but everyone's still waiting for hotter weather just so we can wish for colder weather. It's pretty much an endless cycle. Love how you make layers look so effortless!

You're right, you're great at layering and that scarf is a gem.

  7. Despite the cold weather, you perfected the layering technique- something very hard to do ^^
Love how you explored through some nice dark colors but still kept it black at the same time.
Hope the weather in nyc gets warmer over the weekend! Really looking forward for spring to hit.
